Zodiac Bento: Snake by Demi-Plum Zodiac Bento: Snake by Demi-Plum
Occupying the 6th position in the Chinese Zodiac, the Snake symbolizes such character traits as intelligence, gracefulness and materialism. When it comes to decision-making, Snakes are extremely analytical and as a result, they donít jump into situations. They are effective at getting the things they want, even if it means they have to scheme and plot along the way.

The month of April is the month of the Snake. This bento contains:

Top Bowl: Lotus Seed Soup, Dessert

Face Layer: Shrimp Fried Rice, Nori, Wasabi Sesame

Kimono Layer: 2 Fish Fillet, Broccoli, Pear Slices, Cherry Tomato

I've just eaten and now I'm hungry again... Lovely bento, both in terms of display and the food itself. Although how you managed to close and carry it with those pear slices and fish fillets sticking out... ;) I was always a bit disappointed that my bento boxes looked much nicer just before they went into my bag then when they came out at lunchtime.

You are very kind

Haha no no I ate this one at home >w< It was my dinner actually. But I could have closed it because the lid for the top of this bento is actually con-vexed since the soup bowl sits on top of it.

To prevent a messy bento you have to have as little movement or shaking happen to it. It's not always easy. Or you can pack the bento to the gills so nothing can move haha

I bought this bento box for myself but couldn't figure out what to put in the top tier, i see that you have put soup. Can you actually put soup upside down in this bento box? It won't spill will it?

No you can't. The soup first off wouldn't fit because the lid for the head fills the soup bowl and there is no seal for the top tier. When I'm not eating my bentos at home I either fill a thermos with the premade soup or I take a packet of instant soup mix and just add hot water to it at lunch time.
