I'm sorry I haven't been very active in the bento world lately, but that doesn't mean I'm not making them still. I've just been busy with my new job, and all the mess they're putting me through, so I don't have as much time to take photos of them and make them look pretty. I did get this one in though! This will be my lunch for my work day. It contains:

Top Tier:
Japanese Potato Salad
Shiitake Mushroom Risotto Cakes
Green Onion

Bottom Tier:
Steamed Asparagus
Cherry Tomatoes
Karaage Chicken
Honeydew Melon

Sauce:
Ketchup (for risotto cakes)

Oh haha no. I got the risotto cakes from Lunch In A Box, an online bento blog. But Biggie hasn't updated it in a very long time, so I think she abandoned it sadly. It was my first bento blog and it's extremely helpful.

If you're looking for good recipes you should check out justbento.com. It's Maki's blog. She has a lot of recipes for vegans, vegetarians, and even gluten free recipes

I don't honestly know. I know on Jbox there is a brand that's suppose to be "natural" but I don't know for sure. I would assume so, but I guess I never really thought about it.
