This was my lunch today! I wanted to try something that was not my normal style bento. So I tried out a few new things. It contains:
Takoyaki! It is topped with home made Tonkatsu Sauce, Chives, and Mayo (Takoyaki is Fried Octopus Balls. It is made out of boiled Octopus tentacle and other ingredients. *Tip for frozen Takoyaki: Put them under the broiler for 3-5 minutes after warming up, it helps to give a crispy crunch to the outside while keeping the inside warm and gooey)
Blanched Spinach with Shoyu (Soy Sauce), Sesame Oil and Seeds.
Hard Boiled Quail Eggs
Green Apple Bunny
Japanese Style Potato Salad (I hate American Potato salad so I was skeptical about this version, but it is DELICIOUS!)
