Not the best picture I know, but getting up before the sun really sucks. This bento was really delicious, especially since I've been craving traditional Japanese foods lately. Since there's no beef I guess it's not exactly sukiyaki anymore, but I used up all the beef I had when I made it for my dad and me for supper. Anyway this bento contains:

Hair Layer:
Miso Soup - (Tofu, Scallions, Shiro Miso, Grated Ginger)

Face Layer:
Sukiyaki - (Udon Noodles -hidden under the Sukiyaki-, Shiitake, Enoki, Shimeji, Grilled Tofu, Cabbage, Konyaku -yam noodles, my favorite!-)

Bottom Layer:
Sweet Pickled Cucumber and Ginger (Homemade)
Sauteed Cabbage and Picked Ginger (Gari - kind that goes with sushi)
Cherry Tomato (Hidden between the two cups)
Broccoli (Hidden with the tomato)
Honeydew Melon

Can:
My favorite Ito En Green Tea!

Please Enjoy~!

I had sukiyaki for the first time on New Year's Eve this year when my boyfriend came to visit. Him and I went to a sushi place, and I wanted to try the sukiyaki since I'd never seen it on their menu before. (I don't like sushi, so I always get something from the kitchen menu! :) ) It was so yummy! My boyfriend kept stealing bites of it, too. I took some home to eat later, but as soon as I got in the door, the bottom of the bag broke, and the containers sukiyaki fell between my knee and the end table beside the front door. What a mess that was!

Aww that sucks. I've never had it out, only made it at home. But it's very much worth it.

No it isn't..... sadly. That would be amazing if it was. These can be found on Jbox for like $30. There are 4 types to choose from (as long as they're in stock)

Oh no. I have an electric kettle that I leave at the office so I can have tea and hot soups if I want.
