My parents left me for Vegas again this Easter (they go referee at the Qualifier for the Nationals - Karate) so while they're gone I had my boyfriend over and made him dinner. I made the amazing Cooking with Dog's Stuffed Peppers and Mushrooms. Now this is really quite different for me because I do not like peppers, but I'm on I guess a "diet" (I basically log my calories on an app in my phone and work out. I eat whatever I want as long as I stay in the calorie budget - no muss no fuss) and decided that I should also eat healthier. My mother found these Mini Sweet Peppers at the store and I decided to give it my all and I've eaten almost the whole bag in a week! These peppers still have that pepper "smell" that they have, but they are actually very mild and slightly sweet. So it's not my favorite food in the whole world, but I really am starting to enjoy these sweet peppers. I dun know if I can move up quite yet to the big boys, so for now I'll just stick with these yummy little guys. Anyway enough blabbing, this bento contains:

*Fact of the Day: Did you know you can tell a peppers gender? Just flip them over to find out! Peppers with three "lobes" are male and peppers with 4 lobes are female. The male peppers are better for cooking and the females are sweeter and better to eat raw!
