Bottom Layer:
Buttered Peas

Mini Broccoli and Cheese Quiche

Really? That's pretty cool!

I love cheese, but I can't eat a great deal of it plain. I've always been that way, I'm not sure why. But I still love it none the less.

Haha I don't think we have a specific name for them here. Or I just call them connoisseurs

'connoisseurs' sounds way to formal for cheese heads xD

Hey just out of curiosity, isn't jook over cooked rice???

It's not over cooked rice, but it is rice that is cooked for a long period of time. The starch in the rice mixes with the water, salt, and ginger to make the thickness of the congee. The rice is soft, but it's not over cooked. It's just cooked in a different way than steaming.

It depends on how much you make and what setting you cook it on. It usually takes from 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Yes like that ^w^ Except it's the asian version of get well food. Condiments are usually added to give it flavor.

Do quail eggs taste different than chicken eggs? I've never had them before... ^^;

No they don't, at least not to me. I prefer them because I can't eat a lot of egg things. But these quail eggs are smaller it allows me to get the egg protein in without making me sick.

well i figured that it was a good by because i was running out of the papery ones. i use them a lot too. but be warned the shaped ones are smaller than the others. i was surprised how small, but they work well so i was happy
