Bento of Variety by Demi-Plum Bento of Variety by Demi-Plum
I decided to make make a few original bento items tonight. I really enjoyed it. Japanese bento is still the best bento. It contains:

Top Layer:
2 Onigiri with Marumiya Shiso no Kaori Furikake and Toasted Nori
Strawberries

Bottom Layer:
Blackberries
3 Mini Fruit Candies
Fried Honey Squash
Japanese Potato Salad
Chicken Karaage

Please Enjoy~!

It's possible! We come to Cincinnati often to visit our friends and go out to Mt. Adams bar hopping, lol. I am not a big drinker though, cus every time I drink unless it's just beer I get sick. Obviously I was not meant to get drunk >.<

>w<! Thats cool! I go down there for school haha. I'm not a huge drinker either. I don't see the point of drinking until you're so high you can only crash the next day. A slight buzz is all you need.

It's not hard at all! [link] Here, this link shows how to make a traditional bento. It's not hard at all. If you want to learn how to make bento you can always look at :iconbentounion: and :iconbento-love: They'll give you some ideas and examples. Well you can always ask her if there is something specific she wants, that way it won't seem so rude.

Why yes I do!!!

My favorite places to get recipes are foodnetwork.com and Cooking With Dog on Youtube. I'm also a member in some groups on dA. :icondeviant-cooking: is a group all about sharing recipes. I also just google recipes. Like if I find a food in a book written in ancient Japan/China/ect. I've found Scallion Pancakes, Jook, and other real recipes just from reading and searching google. It all depends on what you want. If you have no idea what you're looking for use foodnetwork

First remember it's fun. If you're not having fun making the food it won't taste good. Next use recipes that you know you like: like a special chicken or shrimp recipe. Also consider what foods will keep well. If you're making bento for home you can eat it as soon as it's done. If you're making bento to go out you need to make things that will hold up until you're ready to eat them. Ex: Onigiri with Furikake and Toasted Nori. [link] this link is helpful. It shows you how to make a traditional japanese bento and gives a few tips. You can also check out :iconbentounion: and :iconbento-love: for bento ideas. Bento were traditionally made from left overs, so if you have them put them to good use!
